TESTIMONIALS

Reanne Copley, mom of 1

I am a single mom of a four year old incredibly busy and brilliant little boy. My son is active beyond the means of most children, and I had already cut out sugar

and red dyes because I was noticing it was shortening his attention span. I have been working with my son on focusing and connecting. I was worried at first that my son would not have the attention span to focus on Gelly’s activities. As a Reiki therapist, connection is always my number one goal and concern. Gelly’s videos were incredible tools to learn to connect with my son in an even deeper manner.

My son is also potty training. He gets so busy that he forgets he has to use the bathroom. After making our secret handshake from one of the videos, I followed Gelly’s suggestion to use it as a part of a routine. So now, we do the secret handshake before, after (and sometimes during) my son using the potty. He loves the handshake so much that he is leaning further into potty training because it feels fun and special for him. There is absolutely no way I would have thought of doing that prior to Gelly’s day four video. This monumental breakthrough alone for my son has me completely humbled and excited to see what else this incredible woman can show the world on how to connect with our tiny humans.

My son and I love to dance. And I mean really love it. It’s a daily staple in our mornings, but I would have never thought to dance and use mirroring as a combination as shown in one of the videos. My son loves playing with me this way so much – and he has even taught his friends to play. He has many friends in our neighbourhood and they love to play this game together! It’s one of their favourite things to do now. This has lead them to make up little dances and following one another. Even my neighbours have noticed a difference in my son and their children.

My son absolutely LOVES the peanut butter and Jelly game, too. We actually play this in the car and have moved a little forward to picking a category (like fruit, colours, vehicles, etc.) and we do it in different voices. I find when we do this – once we get to our destination he’s super ready to play, listen, and enjoy himself. I firmly believe that he feels more connected and safe, so he doesn’t feel the overwhelm or pressure of playing with friends or being out at a store.

I cannot even express enough the way these videos are changing our relationship and the way we communicate and connect. This program is more than I could have ever asked for. Gelly is professional, kind, knowledgeable and genuinely cares for children and their parents. She truly believes in the power and healing of connection. I would recommend any of her programming (and have) to my friends. This is an opportunity no parent should miss.

“I can easily see how Gelly’s non tech play program can benefit the bonding relationship between parents and children in this modern era of high tech.

Gelly’s program allows us to use our creativity, imagination and just appreciate some silly fun. I’d recommend this program for parents of children 10 and younger who want to spend more time laughing and less time disciplining.”

“Parenting with Gelly makes families a happier place. Gelly’s personality is warm and supportive. She breaks things down into bite size pieces for parents
to be able to make immediate change. I would recommend any program Gelly creates. Having Facebook group support from Gelly is an extra bonus I’m excited about.”
